A'bunadh is Scots Gaelic meaning original. It is rumoured that this bottling was created after a time capsule was found in the still house at Aberlour. The capsule contained a newspaper cutting detailing a fire at the distillery in 1898 along with a vintage bottle of Aberlour! Samples were taken and A'bunadh is attempt to recreate this old style of whisky.

Heavily sherried, rich, fruity and powerful.

This whisky is released in small batches at cask strength. Due to this the strength will vary slighty from batch to batch.
