This is one of the more unusual bottlings in the eclectic Benriach range.

There are a handful of Scottish distilleries that practice triple distillation, some with more success than others! Thankfully this one is one of the more successful attempts.

Tasting note from their website..

Nose: Roasted almonds and Brazil nuts. Hot, freshly buttered scones smothered in clotted cream. Sweet heather honey adds an extra luxurious contribution.

Colour: Bright lemon gold. Taste: Vibrant and wonderfully fresh. Huge nutty characteristics right from the start including peanuts, Brazil nuts and hazelnuts. A slice of sweet creamy oak and honey brings balance to the equation.

Our Notes: Starts off quite clean, floral and grassy on the nose, dare I say it is very Irish in character? The sherry casks have added some rich spiciness which really shines through on the palate. Lots of roasted nut, crème caramel and sweet raisin flavours.
