An exclusive Celtic Whiskey Shop bottling that has been matured in our own Amontillado Sherry cask from Bodegas Emilio Hidalgo.

Probably the best Connemara we have ever tasted! Yes, we are a touch biased but it really is that good. This has been finished for around a year in an Amontillado Sherry cask that we shipped to Ireland from our Sherry supplier in Spain. It took a little coaxing to let them part with a cask but it was well worth the effort. 

A fresh, juicy sherry finish that has none of the sulphur notes that so often spoils these casks. 

Our Tasting Note:

Intense and pronounced on the nose. Aromas reminiscent of kippers smoking, bonfires on the beach, tarred rope, flint smoke, hessian sacks, dried figs, dates, Christmas cake and chocolate. On the palate is starts off sweet and fruity with flavours of sultanas, dates, and candied orange peel then the smoke and spice comes through with notes of peat fires, spiced fruits and sea spray.
