Dunvilles Three Crowns Irish Whiskey

Dunvilles, Irish Whiskey, Royal Irish, Distillery, Northern Ireland, Belfast, Dunvilles Pot Still, Three Crowns

Dunvilles Three Crowns was the main brand of the old Royal Irish Distillery in Belfast. Founded in 1868 it quickly became one of the major players of the whiskey world with annual production reaching 2,500,000 gallons by 1890. It's founder William Dunville died in 1931 which led to a gradual decline in fortunes.

Production ceased in 1936 and by 1948 all the stocks had been sold.

This is a rare bottle estimated to be from the 1920's or 30's and is in very good condition. The capsule is intact with very little ullage. There is some slight discolouration on the front label.
