Sitting on the rugged south west coast of Islay, Ardbeg distillery was built at the tail end of the 18th century. The distillery was recently revived in the 1990's after periods of silence and uncertaintanty and it has come back with a bang and fast gaining a great reputation with whisky aficionados.
