The first distillery to be built on the island of Islay in 124 years. Kilchoman is designed as a traditional 'farm' distillery, and occupies former cow sheds and barns. Some of the whisky made is distilled from barley solely grown on the fields nearby at Rockside farm. 

Spirit first flowed in 2005 and the first official releases were bottled in 2012.
