Kaseler Kehrnagel Riesling Eiswein 2012
37.5 cl
It takes much tender loving care to make an Eiswein and the most ideal of conditions. When it pays off the results are exquisite, as is the case here. Expect aromas of stone-fruits and a fantastic balance of acidity and sweetness that will evolve for many years into the future.

Making Techniques | Grapes are left on vines through a frost in order to concentrate the flavours further. The time of harvest varies, but it could be as late as January of the following year. The grapes are carefully selected, they are fermented in 1000l oak Fuder and stainless steel tanks, and later blended together to add complexity. The wine rests for a few months on its fine lees before bottling. |
Closure | Cork |
Cellaring/Ageing Potential | Can be enjoyed for many years, even decades! |
