Due to its roots in illicit brewing, this Irish spirit is often misunderstood and labelled as 'lethal'....nowadays Poitín can be very enjoyable especially when mixed in such a delicious cocktail
 

Due to its roots in illicit brewing, this Irish spirit is often misunderstood and labelled as 'lethal'....nowadays Poitín can be very enjoyable especially when mixed in such a delicious cocktail
 
Ingredients:
  • 15ml Teeling Poitin
  • 35ml Crème De Mure
  • 35ml Lime Juice
  • 2 Dashes Rhubarb Bitters
 
Method: Shaken. Combine all ingredients into an ice filled shaker, shake until frost forms and double strain into a chilled Old fashioned glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with a lime peel spiral.
 
Glass: Rock glass/tumbler with ice cubes
 
Garnish: Lime Peel Spiral
