Tormore

Tormore is another relativelty young distillery in the heart of Speyside. It was built in 1960 by Long John International but is now owned by Pernod-Ricard (Chivas). The distillery is built to an interesting design reminding me on something out of Trumpton or Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. There are eight stills and the distillery has a capacity of 4,100,000 litres per year. Bottlings of single malt from Tormore are rare.
