La Mancha

La Manch DO is the largest continuous vine-growing area in the world. It is situated in the autonomous region of Castile- La Mancha in central Spain. It is ideal for growing grapes. Their vines are extremely healthy due to the lengthy sunshine and versatile land has enabled them to introduce a wide selection of grapes from around the world to great success. This complements the indigenous grapes Airen and Tempranillo whose quality has enabled sales to steadily grow in recent years. The yield from La Mancha's grapes per hectare tends not to be very high but of premium quality.
