The wine was racked just once out of barrel prior to final blending. The palate offers red cherries and orange zest, as well as the fresh minerality typical of the Monterey region.

Nose | Aromas of raspberry, mint, green herbs and black cherries. |
Palate | The palate is dry and medium-bodied with mellow tannins and nicely balanced acidity. Elegant and fruity in style with flavours of raspberries, blueberries and cherries. Good length with some toastiness and white pepper coming through at the end. |

Making Techniques | Vineyard blocks were kept separate through fermentation. Whole cluster berries were gently handled to capture the juicy, fresh fruit character of the grapes, then cold soaked for four days at 48°F to intensify colour and flavours. The wine was aged for 6 months in 94% French oak (26% new) with toast levels ranging from medium to medium-plus. The wine was racked once out of barrel prior to final blending. |
