Titled 'American Whiskey' rather than bourbon because, unlike bourbon, this has been aged in previously used barrels which are described as having been 'bourbon soaked'. This is rated very highly amongst the new breed of American distilled whiskeys. It seems the previously soaked barrels give this a polished and well-rounded mouthfeel but without any loss of flavour.
