Cocchi Barolo Chinato

A very fine aromatised wine made with Barolo red wine and flavoured with a complex mix of botanicals incliuded Chinchona (quinine). This works in place of red vermouth in classic cocktails such as a Manhattan, Negroni or Martinez where it will add extra flavour and refinement. It is traditional served hot in the Asti region as a 'cure' for winter colds and other ailments. A great serving suggestion is with chocolate liqueurs or even straight up with some squares of quality chocolate on the side.
