High West Double Rye
This is a very special rye whiskey, named double rye because it has two components: a combination of 2 year old whiskey made from 95% rye and also 16 year old whiskey made from 53% rye grain. This whiskey has so much bite that it might just bark at you! The rye is brash, minty and herbaceous but tempered slightly by the 16 year old element which adds some creaminess, weight and vanilla flavours. Great as a mixer or as a reviving and invigorating straight shot.
