75 cl

Quinta da Gaivosa 2008 vintage port is an 81 year-old field blend (a random mix of planted vines planted 81 years ago) that spends 2 years in oak. Best value vintage port I've tasted in years with ripe fruit and lots of peppery spice.

Tasting Notes from Celtic Whiskey Shop and Wines on the Green
Nose Aromas of red fruit, herbs, garrigue
Palate raspberry flavours with eucalyptus leaves and dry dark plums. Dense, with a powerful structure, but with the typical balance and elegance of Gaivosa. Great complexity and facing many good years ahead.
