Quinta do Noval 2017 Vintage Nacional
The 2017 release of the Quinta do Noval Nacional was an exceptional year for their ports and this vintage has been recorded in their historic Vintage Port declarations.
The word "Nacional" refers to the fact that the wines are Portuguese vines growing in Portuguese social with no foreign root stock, and are therefore "attached to the soil of the nation". The vines are planted in a small area at the heat of the Quinta do Noval vineyard.

Robert Parker | 100/100 - Rich and vibrant, this has plenty of stuffing and flavor, more than the regular Noval. Then, it adds layer after layer of power. A couple of hours of air makes both the flavors and tannins more intense. It is simply gripping—yet also remarkably fresh. It's a great Noval, and one of the shortlist candidates for "Wine of the Vintage." There were 200 cases produced. Mark Squires, July, 2019 |
