W.D. O' Connell PX 18 Year Old Cask Strength 58.15%
The PX 18 is a double distilled Single Malt Irish Whiskey. Distilled in May 2002 at the Cooley Distillery and initially matured in 1st fill bourbon barrels. A small batch was created, re- casked and aged for a further 13 months in a Pedro Ximenez sherry cask. The result is a rich, full bodied single malt with a cocoa nose, luxuriously thick and creamy with white pepper spices, raisins, toasted oak and sweetness. This is the first cask strength from the PX range. Limited to just 370 50cl bottles.
