Tasting Notes from Celtic Whiskey Shop and Wines on the Green | |
Nose | Very pleasing aromas with some notes of toasty oak, cassis, blackberries and chocolate. |
Palate | The palate is dry and medium to full bodied. It has good acidity and medium, but finely balanced tannins. Classically Bordeaux-styled in character with flavours of cassis, pencil lead, minerals, and toasty oak. Shows good complexity and balance for this price range. |
Colour | Dark purple core with a pink/violet coloured rim |
