Gran Barquero Oloroso
A very fine Oloroso that delivers far more than you would expect for the money. Slightly unusually this is made using the Pedro Ximenez grape variety and is aged in Criaderas and a Solera system for approximately 25-30 years.
The producers recommend you consume this with a mid-morning snack, so there you go, it is a great excuse to treat yourself with some delicious sherry during the daytime!

Nose | Ripe bananas, dates, raisins, chocolate and a faint whiff of smoke. |
Palate | Dry, good acidity, medium to full body with a satisfying salty/savoury note. Spicy and peppery with flavours of dried dates, sultanas, chocolate and oak. |
