Scarlet Lady

The name of this cocktail hails from the Five Points area of New York City which was traditionally occupied by a large portion of Irish immigrants. Scarlet Lady was another name for a prostitute.

A riff on the champagne cocktail. Framboise pairs well with the sherry trifle like Bushmills Black Bush. Add to this sugar and the aromatic tiki bitters. Finished with champagne. A great recommendation for someone who is looking for bubbles.
