Chateau Haut Bages Liberal 2016
Chateau Haut Bages Liberal is one of the least known Pauillac estates but produces exemplary clarets at extremely competitive prices. Made from a blend of cabernet Sauvignon 80%, merlot 17%, Petit Verdot 3% and then matured in oak barriques for 16-18 months. On the palate, this 2016 vintage offers rich tannins, generous black fruits, and an opulent character.
