Los Aguilares Vino Tinto

75 cl

This wine delivers far more than the term 'Vinho Tinto' suggests. It is a youthful blend of 55% Tempranillo, 30% Merlot and 15% Syrah. A young wine where the grapes are fermented together with controlled temperatures to ensure the maximum flavour of the fruit. To describe this as ‘really interesting & enjoyable’ does not begin to do it justice. A really tasty wine!

Penin Guide 2012 Vintage: 87 Points
Robert Parker 89 Points 'A blend of Tempranillo, Syrah and Merlot from chalk and clay-chalk soils at high altitude in the Malaga mountains. It is very dark coloured and has a nose of candied berries and ripe, fruit-driven notes without excess. The palate is very juicy, with a meaty texture, unnoticeable tannins and good acidity. It is pleasant and easy to drink.'
