French Wine Set
Nothing beats two fabulous French wines presented in a beautiful wooden box. This fantastic set contains: Pavillon du Haut Bourg Muscadet Côtes de Grandlieu sur Lie - this single-vineyard Muscadet is made from 100% Melon de Bourgogne, from grapes that are 40 years old. It is named after the parcel the grapes come from, "Pavillon" (Pavilion). Tropical aromas give way to a stunning palate with a long mineral finish. Fine and very well-balanced, this wine has become one of our staff favourites, and is a perfect match for seafood and fish! The wine is also certified "Terra Vitis", a French label for responsible and organic viticulture. Calmel & Joseph Corbieres: Corbieres grapes are generally grown in a Mediterranean climate with ocean influences. This variation is a blend of high altitude parcels and cool altitude terroir. It gives this wine a very unique quality that makes it stand out from the rest. It is comprised of 60% Grenache Noir and 40% Syrah and is aged in concrete vats for 6 months. Drinking now but will also reward careful aging.
