Walsh Whiskey - Irishman and Writers Tears
The Irishman Irish whiskey was first released back in 2006, on the back of the success of the company's Hot Irishman Irish Coffee and The Irishman Irish Cream. The brand was created by Bernard and Rosemary Walsh, who were able to use their links to the whiskey industry to secure stocks of aged single pot still and malt. Uniquely, they blended this without the inclusion of any grain whiskey to produce really characterful expressions. Their range also includes cask strength whiskey, single malt whiskey and the very popular Writers Tears whiskey. The Walsh family completed the building of their impressive new distillery in 2016 and are distilling spirit for future releases.
