Origin: 100% Grande Champagne, 1er Cru of Cognac.
Eaux de Vie blended: 14 to 20 years old.
Distilled with lees.
Ageing in Limousin oak casks with medium burn, in new barrels for 3 years and then in old barrels or hogshead in a damp cellar.
Progressive reduction with distilled water.
Colour: Amber with a touch of old gold.
Aromas: Down among the flowers; touches of rose, jasmine, clove pink combined with the first flavours of fruits, peaches & plums. The old maturation of this Cognac has given it its vanilla aroma.
Taste: The outstanding touch for this Napoleon is probably its great elegance which is one of the major characteristics pf the Premier Cru - fully represented here by the delicacy of flavours as well as the subtlety of its palate.
Served in some of France's top restaurants such as Restaurant Alain Ducasse & Le Jules Vernes on first floor of Eiffel Tower.
