Tasting Notes from Celtic Whiskey Shop and Wines on the Green
Taste Powerful and forceful on initial tasting, then a malty and cereal grain start. Good mouthfeel and richness. The flavours become spicier towards the finish with an underlying citrus and vanilla note throughout.
Nose Vibrant and fruity. Lemon, orange and other citrus notes with a hint of vanilla, agave syrup, pineapple and white flowers.
Finish Some wood tannins, spice and a little heat. Flavours of ginger snaps, cinnamon and white pepper. A youthful and powerful whiskey that is very good for the age. Best with some water to help release those citrus notes.
