The first Irish Single Malt to be aged in Irish Oak — the Glendalough 25 Year Old. This limited edition whiskey has been aged primarily in heavily charred ex-Bourbon oak barrels, then transferred into an Oloroso Sherry cask before finally being aged in virgin Irish Oak — the final cask being made from the first tree felled by the Glendalough Distillery. Rich on the palate with noted of cooked fruits and raisins, quite leathery on the finish with hints of tobacco. 

Limited to 1,800 bottles.

Palate (without water) Round and sumptuous. Cooked fruit, honeyed barley, creamy salted caramel, new leather, raisins, roasted almonds and spicy wood character.
