Jean-Luc Baldes Cohors Les Galets 2010
75 cl
Tasting Notes from Celtic Whiskey Shop and Wines on the Green | |
Nose | Heady, smoky, spicy aromas. Lots of stewed black fruits, leathery/savoury notes, smoky bacon and exotic spices |
Palate | Dry, full bodied with ripe but very firm tannins. Good structure and depth with dense black fruit, black pepper, meaty/leathery flavours and a spice laiden finish. Highly complex, dense and quite tough. Not for everyone, this has very pronounced tannins and a lot of savoury/meaty notes. It's a beast! |
Colour | Dark, dense purple/almost black in colour |
