Lough Gill Shield 2022 Imperial Oatmeal Coffee Stout
The 2022 release of Lough Gill Shield is here! This imperial oatmeal stout was aged for 12 months in American Oak Barrels that previously held both Irish Whiskey and Wheated Bourbon to add woody/vanilla notes from the casks. The brew was then infused with a mix of Ethiopian and Guatemalan freshly roasted coffee blend giving this Imperial Stout a supreme mix of flavours that start from a delicate coffee aroma on the nose, followed by rounded roasted and bourbon notes all mixed in a full-bodied texture and velvety mouthfeel.
