Tasting Notes from Celtic Whiskey Shop and Wines on the Green | |
Nose | Intense and earthy on the nose. Aromas of blueberries, ripe plums, and black cherries with some balsamic and liquorice notes. |
Palate | Full bodied wine with ripe, firm tannins. More black fruit characters with juicy black cherries to the fore. A creamy softt, vanilla infused oakiness holds things together nicely. Good length and some earthy, spicy notes on the finish. |

Cellaring/Ageing Potential | We first tried this wine when it was very young and felt that the tannins were a little aggressive. Several months on and it is entirely different! Drinking very well now. |
