Robert Parker 90+ Points | 'The 2008 Liguai is a blend of 40% Syrah, 30% Carmenere and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon that spent 16 months in new French oak. Scents of sandalwood, herbs, spices, incense, blueberry and blackcurrant add to an already complex, sweetly fruited, spicy wine with outstanding balance and length. Drink this classy effort from 2015-2023' |
The Wine Advocate 92 Points | 'The flagship 2006 Liguai Estate is composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Carmenere. Perfumed and expressive, it offers up notes of balsam wood, lavendar, mineral, blueberry and blackberry. Plush and layered, it conceals enough tannin to evolve for another 3-4 years. This superb wine will be in its prime from 2012 to 2021.' |
