Nose Restrained and light on the nose with delicate floral touches and hints of red cherries and white pepper.
Palate Dry and light to medium bodied. Good balancing acidity and firm, dusty tannins add structure. The fruit comes along slowly with red cherry, smoke and leather notes. Simple but enjoyable.

Making Techniques Careful grape selection. Vinification in steel tanks. Maceration in steel tanks for 14 days. Aged for 12 months in concrete vats. After bottling, wine stays in cellar for a minimum of 12 months before being released.

Jancis Robinson 15.5/20. ‘Rich, dark and savoury and seems rather oaky on the nose – spice and a touch of coffee. Very firm on the palate, I think the tannins may outlast the fruit. I wouldn’t want to drink this without food as it is a bit tough on its own.’
