The Last Drop 1969 Glenrothes Single Cask 16203
The second release of the Glenrothes trilogy, Single Cask 16203 & 16207. A pair of casks were released from one of the most acclaimed Single Malt Scotch Whisky Distilleries. These whiskies were distilled and put into casks in 1969 in which they spent their entire maturation until we bottled them in 2019. Only 271 bottles were produced (130 bts of cask 16203 and 141 bts of cask 16207). They were rewarded 95.5 points (cask 16203) and 96 points (cask 16207) by Jim Murray. Cask 16207 was awarded Best Single Malt of the Year (Single Cask) in Jim Murray's Whisky Bible 2019.
