An phenomonal example of the blending skills of Mastiller Distiller Richard Paterson, the Dalmore 40 Year Old single malt whisky was initially aged in white oak ex-bourbon casks before being transferred into 30-year-old oloroso sherry casks for a finishing period. The rich and full taste comes along with notes of coffee, dates, dried fruits, hints of gingerbread and maple syrup and a finish full of blood orange and coconut notes.
