Inchgower

Situated near the town of Buckie to the east of the mouth of the Spey, Inchgower was founded in 1871 and is often classed as a 'coastal malt'. The vast majority of production goes into a number of popular blends with only 1% ever being bottled as malt. The distillery was expanded from 2 to 4 stills in 1966 and as much as 3,000,000L can be made each year. Inchgower is owned by Diageo and it is a very good single malt.
