Tasting Notes from Celtic Whiskey Shop and Wines on the Green | |
Nose | Restrained and light on the nose with delicate floral touches and hints of red cherries and white pepper. |
Palate | Dry and light to medium bodied. Good balancing acidity and firm, dusty tannins add structure. The fruit comes along slowly with red cherry, smoke and leather notes. Simple but enjoyable. |

Jancis Robinson | 15.5/20. ‘Rich, dark and savoury and seems rather oaky on the nose – spice and a touch of coffee. Very firm on the palate, I think the tannins may outlast the fruit. I wouldn’t want to drink this without food as it is a bit tough on its own.’ |
