Traslanzas 2008
Traslanzas is a vineyard area in Mucientes (Valladoid) included within the 'Denominacion de Origen' (DO) called cigales. Here Tempranillo vines have been cultivated since 1945. The vines grow on a gentle slope facing the southeast, in a valley between two adjoining hills and at a height of about 800m above sea level. An abundance of rocks and boulders reflect the sunlight onto the lower parts of the vines and also give heat on cooler, overcast days.

Without any clarification treatment, stablisation or filtering the wine is usually bottled in November to December in the year after the harvest. The final annual crop will typically total approximately 15,000 bottles. |
