Making Techniques Several small parcels from the Coach House vineyard were crushed and de-stemmed into open top fermenters and pressed at the desired times, with an average time on skins of 12 days. All free run and pressings were combined in tank and after 24 hours the wine was then racked off to barrel gross lees. The wine was bottled with minimum fining and no filtration.
Awards and/or Press Quotes
Wine Spectator 95 Points - 'Plush and powerful, with a salvo of black cherry, currant and spice box pushing through layers of fine tanins and coming out the other side with exuberant aromatics. The finish loses no momentumcarrying these flavours in a big but relatively agile package. Best from 2017 - 20125.'
