Quinta da Gaivosa 2003 Vintage Port
75 cl
Climate conditions for this vintage were extreme: Strong heat during ripening elevated grape's sugar levels to record high. Managed to withstand fears that it could affect the balance of the grapes but it didn't. A few rain drops in the first week of September was enough to ensure the achieve perfect ripening. The Result: Extraordinary Wines!

Tasting Notes from Celtic Whiskey Shop and Wines on the Green | |
Nose | Aromas of spice, dark chocolate |
Palate | Dark, dense and extremely balanced. Great structure, well present but also well integrated tannins with intense chocoate notes. Spicy with an intense and very long after taste. It is a wine with a long auspicious life in front. |
