Spain has more area under vine than any other country, however it remains the third largest producer of wine after Italy and France. This is mainly down to lower yielding vines and the relatively infertile soil found in many regions. It is one of the most diverse and fascinating wine producers with some truly amazing red wines, surprising white wines from the cooler regions and some great Cava and Sherry to boot. It is constantly changing and we are discovering new regions and styles all the time. Recent gems in our range have included wines from Mallorca and the Ronda area near Malaga.
