Alain Chavy
The Chavy family have had roots in Puligny for 200 years but have traditionally sold their wine to negotiants. In 1976, they first started bottling under their own label, Domaine Gerard et Fils and they soon established themselves as one of the finest domains in the village. However, in 2003, after a family dispute, the estate was split between the brothers Alain & Jean-Louis. Alain's 7 hectare estate includes holdings in some of the finest premier cru vineyards. Hi winemaking style is hands off whilst using only a small percentage of new oak which allows the terroir to shine through in these pure, elegant wines.
