Tasting Notes from Celtic Whiskey Shop and Wines on the Green
Nose Aromas of ripe black cherries, smoky bacon, blackberryjam, cassis and black pepper
Palate Dry and medium to full bodied with firm/full tannins. Lots of leathery, meaty flavour characters with some black cherry and blackberry fruit. A little dried out and tannic, maybe needs more fruit to back it up

Awards and/or Press Quotes
Anthony Rose 92 Points " Dense rich inky ruby, excellent fresh nose, very nice blackberry fruit richness on the palate with just the right level of concentration to avoid thickness and nicely balanced by refreshingly juicy acidity and good suppleness of texture overallwith the faintest of rustic dry mineral touches on the finish. Overall excellent.'
Wine Enthusiast 91/100 " This is beautifully structured, packed with black fruits, ripe tannins and balanced acidity. It's stil young, showing the black fruit side of malbec, but the tannins are already integrating well into the structure. Age for 4-5 years."
