Fritz Wassmer Spätburgunder Alte Reben
Medium-bodied red wine, made of old vines ("alte reben") of Pinot Noir, with an intense bouquet of fresh cranberries, red currants, red plums, and sour cherries. On the palate, it is clean and fresh, with juicy tannins. Fruity, fresh, and salty, it has a long finish characterized by youthful cloves. Exceeding all expectations, it is a delicious wine that will be beautiful for at least another ten to fifteen years.
