1. WHISKEY LIVE DUBLIN 2024

The perfect day out for any whiskey lover - whiskey live Dublin will be back May 17th & 18th 2024! Showcasing both the long-established and new arrivals to the Irish whiskey scene, sample the latest Irish whiskey releases as well as whiskies from across the globe including Scotland, Japan and the U.S.A. Delicious whiskey and food pairings, informative masterclasses (some of the 2023 favourites included a Pappy Van Winkle masterclass & Redbreast Dream Cask Tasting masterclass) and whiskey cocktails from some of Dublin's most esteemed bars and restaurants will all be present at this year's Whiskey Live. As per previous years, the event will also feature the ever-expanding range of other Irish craft spirits and some whiskey barrel-aged craft beers

2. SPRINGBANK TASTING EVENING

Join us for Springbank Single Malt Tasting & Three Course Dinner at the Celtic Whiskey Bar & Larder, Killarney. The tasting will be hosted by Melanie Stanger from Springbank Distillers. Treat yourself to a delicious 3 course meal (before or after the tasting) then you will have the opportunity to sample these 5 amazing expressions;

4. Uais Irish Whiskey + Free Power Bank

An exciting triple blend of Pot Still, Single Malt & Grain Whiskeys, aged in Ex-Bourbon & Virgin Oak casks. This whiskey is named for Cairel Colla Uais: one of the famed Three Collas, brothers who once ruled ancient Ireland. Against tradition, Uais overthrew the sitting monarch and ruled as High King for four short but glorious years. It is in that spirit UAIS is created: A whiskey that honours the past but moves in bold new directions, presenting opportunities for new ideas, new flavours and new traditions. 5. THIN LIZZY WHISKEY

An exciting Irish whiskey made in collaboration with West Cork Distillers, Thin Lizzy members Scott Gorham and Brian Downey, together with Phillip Lynott’s family. After many tastings they personally selected an unusual blend of grain and malt Irish Whiskies finished in double charred oak casks. The result is a whiskey that is rich in vanilla notes with a slight bit of smokiness and a long malty finish.

6.THE CELT III PEATED MARSALA CASK

This small batch bottling marks the third release of our The Celt Irish Whiskey series! This triple distilled, heavily peated single malt was distilled in May 2016 and initially matured in first fill bourbon casks. The spirit then received a finishing in Marsala casks from the Martinez winery. Unchillfiltered and natural colour. One to be enjoyed with friends and family!

7. ARDBEG WEE BEASTIE 5 YEAR OLD

This wee lad promises to be Ardbeg's smokiest release yet! This five year old single malt from Islay's Ardbeg is a true tongue-tingling, beautifully smoky whisky that packs lots of chocolate, cresote, and tar on the palate. We'd recommend trying this one in a smoky cocktail to give it the real kick it needs!

8. THE WHISTLER PX I LOVE 15 YEAR OLD

Following on from the huge success of the award-winning PX I Love You Single Cask we are delighited to announce another Celtic Whiskey EXCLUSIVE from Boann Distillery. This Single Cask is aged for 14 years in ex-bourbon casks before being transfered to a PX Hogshead for 12 months. Triple Distilled & non chill-filtered, this edition is limited to only 420 bottles.

9. DINGLE FOUNDING FATHERS 9 YEAR OLD SOD'EM & BEGORRAGH

A Celtic Whiskey Shop EXCLUSIVE! This limited edition, cask strength release of just 221 bottles is the final release in Dingle's Sodom & Begorrah series and another fantastic addition to the Founding Fathers Series, which was created for those who initially invested in Dingle Distillery. For the first release in the Sodom & Begorrah series, it was aged exclusively in bourbon casks. The second release exclusively in sherry casks, and now, the third and final release is a marriage of both - this expression was matured for 5 and half years in a bourbon cask followed by a further 3 and a half years in a sherry cask! Bottled at a robust 59.8% and non chill filtered. Expect delectable sweet notes from the sherry cask. Be sure to grab yours before it's gone!

8. MIDLETON VERY RARE BARRY CROCKETT LEGACY

Midleton Barry Crockett Legacy was created to commemorate the career of the former master distiller who retired in 2013 after 47 years at the distillery. Barry himself helped to formulate this single pot still and it is highly regarded as one of the best in the range. The pot still elements used are drawn from light, medium and heavy styles and the spirit is mostly matured in 1st fill bourbon casks with a small amount going into virgin American oak. There is no age statement but some of the whiskey used is very old (around 25 years). Don’t forget you make it extra special with an engraving for only €15 extra.

8. TEELING 20 YEAR OLD CALVADOS CASK #9048

Bottled to celebrate the 20 years that Celtic Whiskey Shop has been in Dawson Street since we opened in 20th June 2003. Matured in Calvados cask, the apple notes from the cask and sweet, malty notes from the Irish single malt combine to create a fabulous single cask offering. Bottled at cask strength and no colouring added. It boasts aromas of marshmallows, apple sauce, pear drops, vibrant citrus and orange sherbet with tropical fruit flavours and a dry finish.
