Mas Rodó

Mad Rodó is a relatively new wine estate, in Penedes D.O. Catalonia. Only founded in 2005, with wine first released to the market in 2009, it has quickly gained a superb reputation for producing interesting innovative wines. The company is passionate about using up-to-date technology, whilst upholding high standards in preservation of ecosystems and the environment. 

The vineyard is located at the centre of the vineyard. A wide selection of soil types are fond on their land - sandy, calcareous and stony soils. The region also  experiences excellent diurnal range (difference in temperature from night - day), gentle slopes and solar orientation.  Grapes are manually harvested, and crafted into high quality wines with low yields. Both white and red varieties are grown here including - Parellada, Montonega, Macabeo, Muscat, Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo and Merlot.
