We ship worldwide to a wide range of destinations, including the EU, USA, UK, Far East, and Australia. Below you'll find information on payment methods, delivery charges, shipping times, and our shipping policies. Warehouse Opening Hours

Our warehouse operates during the following hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm

Orders are processed and dispatched during these hours, excluding weekends and public holidays.

Important Information

Whilst we try to maintain a very high standard of service there is always an element of risk in sending alcohol overseas. Therefore we must warn our customers that there may be possibilities of customs charges or seizures when sending goods to certain countries outside the EU. In the event of such charges or seizures, Celtic Whiskey Shop Limited will not be responsible for the payment of these extra customs charges and we will not be able to offer any kind of compensation or refund.

We will label our goods in such a way to minimise any charges or seizures but in some cases they may be unavoidable. If you have any concerns regarding shipping to your country then we recommend contacting us first before placing an order. Occasionally errors can arise in the pricing and information displayed for our products. In the event of such errors we reserve the right to cancel sales and refund the customer for the amount paid.

Note that we do not offer a pay and collect service in the shop on Dawson St. However we are always happy to reserve stock and let customers pay when they arrive in the shop.

USA

USA Customs Update
Due to changes to USA imports effective from 28th August 2025, there is currently a 2-week hold for the clearance of alcohol shipments. Please be advised further delays may be expected due to this change. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, but this is outside of our control.

USA Tariffs 2025
As we await full clarity on the rules surrounding the newly introduced 20% tariff, we wanted our USA customers to be aware of the following:
At the moment it looks like tariffs are only to be applied to goods valued at over €800.
Therefore while we await absolute confirmation, we will not be automatically charging a tariff fee on transactions for orders going to the United States for orders under €800. If your order is over €800 we will contact you after the order has been placed to apply the surcharge.
If the situation changes  and the tariff needs to be applied, we will contact you before we ship your order and give you the option to pay an additional surcharge or cancel your order.

Delivery: 15 to 20 working days from DISPATCH DATE (WEEKENDS/BANK HOLIDAYS NOT INCLUDED).

Tracking numbers: 8 to 12 working days from DISPATCH DATE for us to receive the assigned tracking numbers from our shipping partner. We will send to customers once received.
