Barbancourt 5 Star 8 Year Old Rum 70cl

This is a superb rum from the island of Haiti. Barbancourt, like many rums from French speaking countries, is made from free run sugar cane juice. It is distilled in a traditional Cognac style pot still and aged in French oak barrels. Unsurprisingly this is often described as the most 'Cognac-like' of all rums. It is very smooth and is packed with vanilla, spice and exotic fruit flavours.
