Bodegas San Gregorio

This is a co-operative located in the DO Calatayud in the region of Aragon. The co-op has 2,000 acres of vineyards with the predominant varieties Garnacha(62%), Tempranillo (22%), Macabeo (7%) and a mix of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot & Syrah. Most vines are at least 40 years old with many much older. The vines are not irrigated which gives lower, high quality yields. The winemaker is Norrel Robertson, a master of wine from Scotland known as El Escoces Volante (The Flying Scotsman).
