This is a hard to find expression of Jameson that is normally only found in airport retail. The 'Round' combines a perfect balance of grain and pot still whiskeys which have been collectively matured in a combination of virgin (new) American oak, ex-Bourbon barrels and Sherry butts.

Tasting Notes from the Producer
Aromas (without water)
A step inside one of our Maturation Warehouses. The combination of American and European Oak brings some robust notes of Leather, Pipe Tobacco and Walnuts. A little Vanilla sweetness shows through giving hints of Coffee Cake.
Flavour
Everything in perfect harmony. Sweet Vanilla fuses with Soft Ripe Fruit and, together, combine with the rich Pot Still Spices. All this on a firm foundation of Toasted Oak.
Finish: Exceptionally long, as the richness fades to leave the last word with the Wood.
