Kavalan Sherry Cask Solist 54.8%
From cask number s100211011A which yielded 522 bottles. This is a real sherry bomb of a whisky. Whilst it is quite young it has far more depth of flavour and colour than you would expect. The sherry impact is massive, and so is the alcohol. This is best with a little splash of water where you will notice more fruit and spice flavours opening up. Definitely unique, and certainly worth trying if you like heavily sherried whiskies such as Aberlour A'Bunadh and the Glendronach series of single malts.
This is all natural in colour and comes in a very nice leather effect gift box.
